Was driving listening to Soundcheck on NPR when this happened. Immediately went home and found the live video. This dude is seriously talented.
...but not for my music :p
Here's the article. The journalist interviewed me about my experiences growing up in Monsey, NY, where I was raised by my mother to be a Gerer chasid.
The piece is about how the chasidic/ultra-orthodox community in Monsey has taken over the Ramapo school district. Local kids that attend public school have found their programs gutted, as the school board is now using whatever resources it can for the good of the chasidic community, leaving the public school children with almost nothing. Pretty sad, and very upsetting, which is why I agreed to be interviewed.
Here I am as a child around age 6
Or both.
Really cool. Kinda like a Leslie but waaay cooler. And it's got looks.
Love how he always refers to them as "the robots"...
Nile is one of my primary influences as a guitarist. I'm vomiting rainbows.
I got chills from watching this. "Face To Face" is one of my favorite tracks off Discovery. (Todd Edwards is the vocalist, and did a lot of the sampling on that song.)
